Definitely a tailless whip scorpion. here is one I spotted in Costa Rica for reference: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7726893
I know this guy! I second Jack, too. It's the scariest thing I've ever seen, but looks quite fascinating at the same time. I ended up watching the YouTube video for it!
Charon grayi is one species in the general region...
Jack is correct. This is a "tailless whip scorpion" (Order Amblypygi), not a "whip scorpion / uropygid" (Order Thelyphonida) and not a scorpion (Order Scorpiones). Here is a similar one from the Philippines http://www.flickr.com/photos/filan/2591701781/ Cheers
not 100% on the ID suggestion but there are many forms of it.
...and a similar one in Sabah... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9943485
Hi Jun and welcome to Project Noah. This looks like a female version of your Filippino cave spiders... here's another (male) spotting to compare http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/11368312
