That species does not extend to Brazil, so perhaps it is a member in the same Duskywing genus, Erynnis?
It looks very similar to Juvenal's Duskywing caterpillar: http://natureinfocus.com/galleries/fauna/insects/butterflies/caterpillars/Juvenal%27s-Duskywing-skipper-caterpillar.jpg.php
Argy, I couldn't see its underside because it was like glued to the leaf, I'd need to disturb it a lot to do it. But I have a not so good side photo where it is possible to see its prolegs.
