Description:

Some kind of Spiny Orb-Weaver (Gasteracantha sp.), but I could use help with identifying the specific species. From pictures, it looks similar to Gasteracantha fornicata, but it seems they may only exist in Australia.

Habitat:

Seen in a trail through highland farms and secondary forest near the village of Siulak Deras on the edge of the Kerinci Seblat National Park, Sumatra, Indonesia.
