Field Notes

Description:

Discus shaped fungus approximately 2.5 to 3cm. Off-white in colour with a cream coloured central ring. Surface felt soft and powdery although no obvious powder.

Habitat:

Bush track. Central east Coast of New South Wales. Australia near Wyong. Discarded branch beside remnant sub-tropical rainforest and swamp. Seen after several weeks of high humidity and strong rainfall
