I am not sure, but I think this is the Destroying Angel (Amanita Bisporigera). I say I am not sure because I can't see the base of the stem. I am almost sure this is an Amanita sp. and the white ones are deadly most of the time. The one you found it's in North America, this means it's a Destroying Angel. I might be wrong, but I think I'm on the spot with this one. The other option for this would be the False Death Cap - Amanita Citrina (not poisonous)... but to be sure, don't touch it.
