Description:

Weevil? Body 1/2" long + snout. Spikes on back. Fascinating markings on back of body,I think to mimic. Stripes on legs

Thank you for your suggestions James, I think it is more likely to be Molytinae sp. as suggested by bayucca (thank you bayucca) but have'nt found an exact match.

Not positive, could not find an identical match, but looks like some sort of elephant weevil. Also see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthorhinus_cylindrirostris
