Description:

Tiny emerald color frog, possibly a juvenile Gray Tree Frog?

Habitat:

No larger than my thumbnail, found 8/15/15 on my Canna leaves. The nearest " frog pond" ( a small drainage gully, always water-filled) is approximately 150 ft away.

Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

Recent metamorph gray or cope's gray tree frog (Hyla versicolor and Hyla chrysoscelis). They are both highly variable and visually indistinguishable.
