Field Notes

Description:

crumpled brown moth. I think the ledge it is on is about 1cm so it is up to 1.5cm. large eyes. Antenna pulled back and tight to the wing package. Wings wrapped tight around the body. Small snout. Some distressed white on the collar.

Habitat:

nocturnal and attracted to light

Notes:

no species or family for this one yet but there are several which may be related attracted to the same light source
