Blue-and-white Swallow

Pygochelidon cyanoleuca

Comments (4)

The species was moved from genus Notiochelidon into Pygochelidon, accounting for the name change.
Thank you so much, for the ID, KarenPuracan and Liam. In the Costa Rican birds book it says it is a Blue and white swallow, Notiochelidon Cyanoleuca...?! Is that right or a miss spelled!!??
Oh... I didn't see that someone got it first. It wasn't "tagged" on my mobile app! Grr. Anyway, that's the species I found too.
It's definitely a swallow of some sort. I'll try to get the species, but I am not personally familiar with Costa Rico's birds.... Do my best.
