Description:

was a cold misty moon lit winter night. Might have been a perfect setting for some romance for this couple!! I was surprised to the place chosen by this pair, it was the only rock in the surrounding and it was like a perfect stage!!I was late for the show but anyways i didnt miss it :)

Like the scorpions the whip scorpions also involve in a mating ritual that looks like a dance. The "dance" is actually to test the of strength of male. I wanted to observe and document the behavior as long as the show continued but unfortunately had to retreat due to arrival of the jumbos!

Habitat:

Dark and dry places under rocks, in small burrows, under rotting wood..
