Description:

Widespread resident - Himalayan region (Northern Himalayas).
Head pale grey on Female; Surprisingly, Plum-red on Male; Yellow upper mandible; white-tipped blue-green tail; females have yellow collar and upper breast; underparts light green; wings dark green.
