Description:

I love these mushrooms! They make me happy every time I see them. These were in a garden on a dead tree branch. Their common name appropriately describes their wild turkey tail-like color and pattern. The underside of Turkey Tail Mushrooms is white and porous. Pores are microscopic but can be seen when looking carefully.

Habitat:

Garden on dead tree branch.

Notes:

Fascinating info: Turkey Tail Mushrooms have been studied for treating various cancers and immune disorders with promising results .
