Description:

"Tropidurus torquatus" is a predator type "sit-and-wait". The opportunistic behavior of this species, whose diet includes invertebrates, small vertebrates (other lizards) and vegetables (flowers and seeds), may explain the success of this lizard in a variety of habitats.

Grasslands, savannas, woodlands, rocky regions
