Field Notes

Description:

Large dragon lizard with a very long tail, crest and spines.

Habitat:

Arboreal. Found on the campus of Pacific Adventist University outside Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Notes:

The raised crest on the tail indicates that this is an adult male.
