Field Notes

Description:

New frogs, just emerging from tadpole stage. Small frogs, grow to around 40mm, dark stripe from snout, through eye to flanks.

Habitat:

Dry sclerophyll. Tadpoles in water trough.

Notes:

After watching the tadpoles in the water trough for some time, caught this pair trying out their land legs, the next day nearly all the tadpoles had gone.
