Field Notes

Description:

This scorpion can reach up to 7cm in length. "Tityus serrulatus" is considered the most dangerous scorpion in South America and responsible for most of the fatal cases.

Habitat:

Forests, caves, cliffs.

Notes:

This specimen was in a medicine cabinet at a veterinary hospital, and the veterinary asked to me to remove it. It probably came out of a drain that was open.
