Field Notes

Description:

This is a cedar tree (exact type unknown, scientific name may not be correct as cedars can also be in other genus). Cedars are conifers and they grow in a pyramid shape and can grow to be very large. They keep their leaves year round and most retain the full color. If there is color change to the leaves, it is due to the leave turning dormant for the winter.

Habitat:

Common in forests with moist soil.
