Field Notes

Description:

A common (Nymphalidae) brush-footed butterfly species which is nocturnal.
Wings have bands of different shades of brown. There are also 2 "eye" circles on the back of it's hindwings.

Habitat:

Lives near to coconut palm trees.
This one flew into my room one night. They are often night visitors.

Notes:
