Habitat:

Western US and Norther Mexico.

Notes:

This guy was munching on a prickly pear (see on ground behind it) when I happened on him. I could hardly take a step through this field without getting pocked by something; it is amazing to me how this guy could just run and disappear through the cactus shrubs.
