Field Notes

Description:

Males are a glossy blue that is bordered by black and fringed with white on the dorsal side. On the ventral side, they have dark markings bordered by white against a light grey background. Wingspan is from 18 to 28 mm.

Habitat:

Spotted in a moist ditch along the Wenas Road in eastern Washington.
