Field Notes

Description:

Measures about 10.5cm long. The male is bluish-gray. Females and young are lighter brown on the bottoms. The coloring of the beak varies between black, gray and yellow.

Habitat:

It can be found throughout Brazil in fields with high grass, savannahs and vegetation on the edge of rivers.
