Field Notes

Description:

All gray long thin legs, small body often with abdomen raised making the body look L shaped.

Habitat:

Dark places.

Notes:

Long legs often give an advantage of faster weaving and safer distance from a prey's defense. The spiders are also harmless and nonvenomous to humans making them great to have near homes for warding off blackwidows and other harmful Arthropoda.
