Field Notes

Description:

Red breasted with pinkish red under tail coverts. Male with black stipe in centre of the body. Iridescent black upper parts. dark grey/blue underparts.

Habitat:

Common throughout Australia wherever mistletoe occurs. Will also feed in gardens.
