Field Notes

Description:

Possibly the brightest mushrooms that I have seen. The largest had a cap about the size of a quarter. They looked very much like carrot slices.

Habitat:

Discovered just below a wooden bridge that passed over a creek.
These were found in the Pachaug State Forest.
