Description:
An Eastern Box Turtle in the woods. This shy individual was found by my sister in the woods we were exploring. We placed him near a tree on the mossy ground where he remained tucked away in his shell as we explored the area. When we returned to see if he was still where we left him, we found that he was gone :)
Habitat:
Dense woods.
