Plataspidae; Plataspinae; Coptosoma sp. (this might be Coptosoma xanthogramma) - https://scholarspace.manoa.hawaii.edu/handle/10125/10935

Habitat:

Spotted in our vegetable plot.

Notes:

Having viewed the following spotting by Arne.roysland, I now think that this bug is Coptosoma variegatum - https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1120333854
