Field Notes

Description:

It is a very long (15 inch height) leaf, with a width of 4 inches. It has a waxy and smooth texture, and is a little sharp on the edges, as well as it's emerald green color. It is a linear shape, and has a parallel venation. I cannot recall how the buttress roots liked like, but I am pretty sure that they were small and thin.

Habitat:

It was spotted in the rainforest of the Singapore American School.

Nice description. Take multiple pictures of this plant to get a better set of suggestions from scientists. You will want to take a picture of the leaves, the trunk, and flowers/fruit if it has any. The height of the plant also can be a givaway.
