Field Notes

Description:

This is a herbaceous perennial plant some 40 tall, it produces flowers in a loose spike some 10 cm long. Flowers are white or white-pinkish, each flower about 2 cm in diameter with four petals.

Habitat:

Native to Europe, this flower was observed in Natural Reserve of Jura mountain range, at 900m approx; on edge of a mixed forest, and on shoulders of forest roads; in partial shade.
