Hi and welcome to Project Noah! All these Owl Butterflies look almost the same. This one is a Caligo sp., but not Caligo beltrao, which has this typical long dark band. I had to scroll quite a longtime to find a correctly IDed Beltrao on my screen, all the other ones were wrong. http://www.flickr.com/photos/techuser/8202984652/in/faves-53734993@N08/
