Habitat:

Pacific Northwest coastal ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted in flight above the beach at Pacific City and telephoto-imaged.

According to information at the link (below), "Identification of the large pink-footed gulls (Herring, Thayer's, Glaucous-winged, Western and Glaucous) along the West Coast is difficult."
