Hi pryncesslisa, welcome to Project Noah! The Brisbane Insects and Spiders website suggests that this might be a Naskrecki's Bush Katydid nymph (Ozphyllum naskreckii). However, I'm not sure that the ID on Brisbane Insects is confirmed or just speculation. Check out http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_crickets/NaskreckiBushKatydid.htm and see what you think. Enjoy the site and we'll look forward to seeing more of your spottings!
