Description:

This polka dotted leaf beetle gathers communally during the day, retreating under bark and awaiting nocturnal feeding forays.

Habitat:

Found under bark.

They'd call them beetles. I'd have one too.
Very nice. I wished they made cars like these - probably not very aerodynamic but I'd love one.
Thank you Doc. Some observations are magical moments. I saw about six together. I was actually looking for them but still surprised at this lucky find. I can only fit two in my macro lens.
