Description:
Aquarius remigis has a narrow brown body with long thin legs. During breeding season, this species can communicate with potential mates by sending ripples over on the surface of the water. This is a predatory species and uses its front legs to seize its prey.
Habitat:
Spotted in slow back water in the Lyre River.
