Description:

Chrysolina americana, common name rosemary beetle, is a species of beetles belonging to the family Chrysomelidae. The species is very common in the Mediterranean region, and it was photographed while foraging on lavandula plants. It was spottedn in Nea Demetrias, Volos city, Greece.
