this link shows the mom incubating the eggs.Her patience paid off!After nearly a month of or so we have two beautiful babies eager to fly off,but,not ready yet.They weathered so many rains and storms!.

I went to check on the nest yesterday and it was empty! Congratulations mom! on a job well done! /right from choosing the location and site of the nest,with safety and food source in mind your planning was perfect!will post more pics later.

The nest is a marvel of architecture !It is amazing how well these babies fit in! The outside is entirely covered with lichen.
Thanks for the like Brian.I am so relieved that they reached this stage.Squirrels can be a threat.Somehow the rains were good in that they deterred the squirrels.
