Field Notes

Description:

Japanese Mountain Toad spotted swimming in the Karasawa River, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It was a very hot day, so I am sure it enjoyed a refreshing swim!

Notes:

Pictures are poor quality due to distance/zoom, I took them looking down from atop a dam. For some better quality photos you can see my previous spotting of this animal at https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/233426603
