Field Notes

Description:

A little larger than a domestic house cat, they have brown fur with a short bobbed tail and adults have ear tufts. The young are usually small mirror images of the adult

Habitat:

Wetlands at Christmas in Florida

Notes:

I had just gotten out of my car when I saw the female, then after 4 shots the 3 kittens emerged and trailed her. I walked about 30 feet behind and took shots as the kittens gamboled and played as the mother just strolled along the path
