Description:

The berries are edible and high in vitamin C. A tea made from the leaves is a well known tonic for the female reproductive system, it has been used to assist with childbirth and for painful menses.

I have munched on them, they are essentially flavorless, though I heard sometimes they have a hint of wintergreen, never noticed any flavor.
Have you eaten these? I've eaten a couple over the years and they seem completely flavorless. Maybe they weren't ripe enough.
