Only a glimpse of this small (finch or warbler size) gray green bird.

Habitat:

Flew through the trees beside an urban pond with one or two others.

That was my thought, but did not get a good enough look, or photo to show tail or wing bars clearly. We are starting to get lots of little birds flying through now. Will soon be spring :)
looks sort of like an american goldfinch but i can't be sure
