Field Notes

Description:

The back is brown and the belly is gray. There are black and white stripes on the head, and a white throat. There is a yellow spot next to the eye on each side of the face.

Habitat:

They are found in forested areas throughout North America.

Notes:

In Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
