Field Notes

Description:

I was walking around the dining room, at 4:00 a.m. in the morning, and I spotted a small, dark insect, resting on the dining room floor. I picked up this insect, with a piece of white paper, and I gently laid this insect down, on the dining room table. I then shined my flashlight on this insect, and I saw that this insect, was a Moth. A small Moth. I then took some photos of this Moth. The color of this Moth, was black. This Moth, was five eights of an inch long, and three sixteenth of an inch wide. This Moth, is alive, and able to fly. I was not able to get any good photos, as the lighting was bad.... Order: Lepidoptera.

Habitat:

Butterflies and Moths, live and breed in diverse habitats, including: salt marshes, mangroves, sand dunes, lowland forests, wetlands, grasslands, and mountain zones.

Notes:
