Habitat:

Wildlife sanctuary with thick forests consisting of oak, bamboo, chestnut, rhododendron, etc. Cold place. Altitude: 2,400m.

Notes:

I thought it is a common moth, which I saw plenty at the spot - more than 40 - but could not find a reference!
