Field Notes

Description:

Reddish to grey side and underparts with dark and light stripes on the back. It has pale rings around the eyes. There are no face stripes and slightly larger than Chipmunks.

Habitat:

Spotted in a pine forest near a golf course.

Notes:

Native to western North America.
