Description:

This Aeolid Nudibranch has been mis-identified many times as Cuthona yamasui, with the genus also wrongly placed, and now updated to the genus Tenellia. Tenellia was a small genus until a DNA phylogeny of the former family Tergipedidae resulted in most species of Cuthona being transferred to this genus. This picture is of a yet to be described Tenellia species.

Thanks, @patty :) Lots of colorful Nudibranch in the sea, several thousands of them and mostly very colorful :) I have been lucky, scuba diving in Philippines where there are lots of them around :)

What a magnificent creature and picture Albert! I would had never imagined such colorful and uneven surfaced creature existed; seems like a wonderful cartoon character for some reason, haha =)
