Description:
About 20 m long ( wingspan about 40 m), this moth was wedge shaped with one forewing wrapping around and over the other. The moth was a dark brown and each fore wing had a pale patch near the wing base -this made the moth look like it was piece of dried rolled-up leaf.
The thorax was covered with dense short setae.
Labial palps had rounded tips.
Habitat:
Spotted near a national park (Dandenong Ranges)
Notes:
The female of this species is a plain cream colour. <br>
