My closest and very, very shy guess or just a desperate hint... Amietia sp.?, Amietia fuscigula, Cape River Frog, also found in the Karoo semi desert area. http://africanamphibians.lifedesks.org/pages/26816 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_river_frog http://cameratrap.mywild.co.za/2011_12_01_archive.html If I am wrong, you see how little is my froggy expertise, at least in your area...
