The reason I suggested this is the variability that it presents, from a well defined cap to none at all, and everything in between.

Hi Telse, I do not think this is F. pinicola, my suggestion belongs to the same family, and often has the folded over edges seen here. If there were drops of liquid forming on the pore surface that would confirm it.
