Panjang tubuh 18-25 inci (46-68 cm), lebar sayap 40-60,5 inci (101-153 cm). Betina lebih besar dari jantan; dewasa rata-rata 22 inci (55 cm), lebar sayap 49 inci (124 cm) dan berat 3,1 lbs (1.400 g)
