Description:

Thyrassia is a tropical south and Southeast Asian genus. It belongs to family Zygaenidae and subfamily Procridinae. It strongly resembles ctenuchids.

Habitat:

Backyard.

Notes:

First considered ID was Thyrassia penangae, but updated to Thyrassia philippina (Zygaenidae) after Dr. Roger Kendrick and Shen-Horn Yen gave their inputs and additional info.
