Description:
Low-growing plant with egg-shaped, evergreen leaves about an inch long. Arching flower stem has flowers, closed bells, on one side only.
Habitat:
Moist soil of conifer forest around Trillium Lake, a 240-acre man-made lake on the south slopes of Mt. Hood. Mid-mountain elevation (about 3600 feet) in the northern Oregon Cascades. Shade to filtered sunlight.
